Social poker operator enjoys 53% GGR boost

KamaGames has praised a number of fresh launches, regular updates to existing games, its great relationship with players and a consistent upkeep of its “high-quality product output” as it released its impressive H1 2018 figures.

Also lauding the addition of 3D games and its launch of Multi Table Tournaments (MTT), with it stated that “we were the first to launch it into the social casino landscape,” impressive results were seen in the firms US and European core markets, as it also keeps more than a watchful eye on emerging markets, namely Asia and Latin America.

The social mobile poker operator has revealed “growth and success” across every metric, including seeing a two fold increase in daily active users (DAU), compared to the first half of 2017.

Furthermore, revenues also saw huge growth, seeing a 53 per cent rise compared to the $57.7m figure reported in KamaGames’ 2017 annual figures.

The firm also revealed June as its most profitable month of the first half of 2018, going against the grain of what it considers to be a quieter period “for any games company”.

Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of KamaGames, spoke to TotallyGaming.com regarding the importance innovation plays in keeping up to date with, or even ahead of, popular consumer trends, and the role it has played in the continued growth of KamaGames: “It is crucial to be a market leader by having new features in a product. In order to grow, we need to attract more and more players into our games. To stay competitive, we need to offer something different from what WSOP and Zynga have to offer.

“We always try to find new ways to launch new mechanics, features and introduce players to new experiences. Things like Party Modes, MTT, Boost Poker and new games make us stand out in the social mobile poker crowd and also help us increase our key metrics: Retention and ARPU.”

Totally Gaming says: Figures highlighted by KamaGames reveal gross gaming revenue to have had a huge boost in H1 2018, which is testament to the various developments undertaken by the firm in recent times. Reaching 100m global players earlier in the year was a huge statement, and it appears that KamaGames continues to go from strength to strength.
