Physical slot generates revenue of £150m a year for Gauselmann subsidiary

Blueprint Gaming, the UK games development subsidiary of Germany’s Gauselmann Group, has launched one of its best-performing branded slots online for the first time.

Deal or No Deal - The Perfect Play is a fruit machine-style title based on the popular TV gameshow of the same name. Originally launched as a land-based title, it generates gross revenue of more than £150m a year in the UK, with Blueprint predicting that this popularity will aid a successful online roll-out.

All of the game’s key features have been repurposed for online play, including 16 feature games such as Big Money and a version mirroring the TV show, where players eliminate boxes to win a prize. It also offers huge payouts through the Super and Mega prize features, which are triggered when a player collects three or more telephone symbols on the reels.

The mobile version, meanwhile, uses a portrait orientation to offer users the full fruit machine experience on their smartphones.

“Developing this pub classic for the online environment will mean more players than ever before can enjoy an immensely popular game which they will already be familiar with,” Blueprint Gaming director of marketing and relationships Jo Purvis said.

“Leaning on our land-based roots and our ability to develop exciting online content, Deal or No Deal – The Perfect Play is set to capture the imagination of both new and existing players and drive revenues for operators.”
