Deal sees AGS sponsor Play of the Game feature on Vegas Golden Knights videoboard

Casino gaming content supplier AGS has become the first service provider to agree a corporate partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights, the Las Vegas-based National Hockey League (NHL) franchise.

The partnership will see AGS sponsor the all-new Play of the Game feature, which will see a key moment from each home game replayed on the videoboard at the team’s T-Mobile Arena stadium.

It will also launch a slot game based around the team on its Big Red cabinets to promote the partnership, as well as serving as a title-night sponsor should the team reach any end-of-season championship games.

"Adding the fastest-growing gaming equipment supplier to our roster of team partners is a big milestone for our organization and we couldn't be more thrilled about partnering with AGS,” Vegas Golden Knights president Kerry Bubolz said. “AGS has a renowned corporate culture and expanding global reach, enabling us to connect our brand to their employees and customers in Las Vegas, across the country, and around the world."

The Vegas Golden Knights was established in 2017, and currently plays in the Pacific Division of the NHL’s Western Conference. It has already agreed partnerships with the likes of Caesars Entertainment, MGM Resorts, Station Casinos and the Cosmpolitan Las Vegas.

AGS president and chief executive David Lopez said his company’s employees had been “huge fans” of the team since its inception, and that he was excited to take this support to the next level as an official partner of the franchise.

"Like the Las Vegas Golden Knights, we are 'Vegas-proud', with our worldwide headquarters in the Las Vegas Valley,” Lopez explained. “And there are other similarities – we are relatively new players in the gaming supplier space and we have certainly been underestimated.

“Both AGS and the Golden Knights formed strong teams, came together quickly under a set of unique core values, and have never lost sight that winning is all about a cohesive team and character-driven culture."
