William Hill renews Playtech bingo deal

Playtech Bingo chief operating officer Daniel Phillips has hailed the renewal of a bingo deal with UK bookmaker William Hill as a “real endorsement” of the gaming software supplier’s services.

The new four-year deal will extend a partnership that began back in 2007.

The Playtech Bingo Network includes more than 70,000 players and up to 20,000 concurrent users across William Hill Bingo and Playtech’s other network bingo licensees.

“For a brand of that significance to endorse our network and online and mobile bingo products is testament to the hard work the Playtech Bingo team puts in everyday and how far we have come as a business,” Phillips told TotallyGaming.com.

“William Hill is also a core member of our Italian bingo network which is growing year-on-year and, as regulation permits more products online and on mobile, the business will gain even more benefits from being a Playtech licensee within that jurisdiction.”

Playtech provides licensees with a mobile and tablet product that provides cross-channel slot games amongst other offerings.

“We are in daily contact with our licensees discussing their brand’s needs and requirements including overall performance, how best to continue to optimise that performance, introduce new products such as mobile and tablet functionality, new side games and casino content, new and exciting promotions, jackpots and prizes, and so on,” Phillips added.

“We pride ourselves not just on our technology, speed of integration and delivery, but also on our account management and customer service.

“Equally, we are also in continual discussions with potential new customers and have a number of announcements in the pipeline so watch this space.”

James Curwen, director of gaming at William Hill, added: “We're very pleased to have renewed our bingo agreement with Playtech and the highly experienced team there. We look forward to working together to grow the business even further.”
