The omni-channel slots specialist has acquired Proactive Gaming

Play’n GO will service its operator clientele with additional gaming products and verticals after completing the purchase of Proactive Gaming Scandinavia AB.

The omni-channel slots specialist will leverage Proactive Gaming’s expertise in the number games sector, as well as Keno, digital scratch cards and integrated minigames.

The company will also be utilising Proactive’s existing framework to offer poker for the first time, while building on its bingo knowhow through Proactive’s connection to Idrottens Bingo.

Johan Törnqvist, CEO of Play’n GO, told “Having firmly established ourselves as a leader in the slots space, entering new verticals seemed the logical strategy to improve our service to operator clients.

“We’re looking forward to tapping into Proactive Gaming’s technical expertise, and this was one of the major factors in targeting them for our first acquisition, along with their ability to help us expand into the likes of number games and scratch tickets.

“Bingo is an area we also feel has great potential, with fairly static growth in the area in recent years, so adding a much more extensive, quality product to our range will allow us to provide operators with further cross-selling and revenue driving opportunities.”

Pål Burman from Proactive Gaming added: “Play’n GO have been pioneering in the casino sector for years and we’re delighted to become a part of their organisation.

“Although in different gaming verticals, we have the same high standards when it comes to new product development and this will help us grow more than the sum of our parts in the coming years.”

Totally Gaming says: Play’n GO is following a strategic plan to enter more gaming verticals to boost its appeal to operators in regulated markets. Delegates at ICE London (6-8 February) will get to see how the company’s gaming provision can benefit both online and land-based casino operations.
