Leeds and Weston-Super-Mare set for venues later this year

Hot on the heels of opening their first venue, Luda are planning an expansion into two other areas of England.

The new venture from Rank Group, owner of Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo clubs, is aimed at refreshing the bingo experience, with branches in Leeds and Weston-Super-Mare following the successful launch in Walsall.

Alan Morgan, managing director of Luda, told  “It brings a new customer offer and format to the gaming industry, which reflects the needs and demands of today’s busy consumer lifestyles.

“The new high street bingo and slots concept also showcases the future of convenience bingo, blending the hospitality of a coffee shop with the world of gaming.

“The aim was to refresh the bingo experience and showcase the future of convenience gaming.

“Luda’s new gaming format embraces bingo’s social and community context and places it in a more accessible and contemporary environment.”

Adding:  “We’re confident both new major city locations will appeal to a wide range of consumers, from groups of friends on a night out looking for a fun time or those seeking to take time out to re-charge their batteries.

“The Luda brand offers a sociable place to meet, play, try new games, have a bite to eat and relax.

Totally Gaming says:  Through the modern, coffee shop style design on show, it was hoped a whole new wave of bingo enthusiast could be attracted through the doors of Luda.  With expansion plans already in place that very much looks the case, with Morgan stating that long term the aim is now “to develop the concept and create a chain of venues across the UK.”
