The Bingo Association asking attendees to sign-up for 'Boost Bingo' campaign

The Bingo Association is coming to ICE 2014 to promote its 'Boost Bingo' campaign, which aims to place pressure on the UK government to bring the sector's 20 percent tax rate in line with the rest of the gaming industry. The Association said that it is seeking support from the wider gaming sector and is calling on ICE attendees to sign its petition.

A spokesperson from the organisation said that the current rate is an 'excessive tax burden' on a 'social activity that is at the heart of British culture and local communities across Great Britain'.

"What is really important from our perspective, and one of the key reasons for wanting to have a stand in ICE, is that the Boost Bingo campaign has a petition and we really want to increase the number of signatures," she added.

Alternatively you can find out more about the petition here, or sign it at change.org here. The Bingo Association will be on stand Sd5 D at ICE.
