The crypto has been named Tipcoin.

Tipstrr, the online betting tips service, has announced details of an industry-first tipster-focused cryptocurrency, known as Tipcoin.

The firm claims the biggest barrier its customers face is the logistical challenge of placing bets on a regular basis, with life often getting in the way.

Tipcoin has been rolled out with a view to break down this barrier, as it will allow for automated betting. It allows users to create their own hub of betting syndicates, based on their own risks - choosing their own staker plans and own risks and rewards.

Andy Jones, Tipstrr Technical Director, told “What the currency does is basically create this eternal economy inside Tipstrrr, where we get more valuable as a platform. The value of the coins go up, because people are more likely to want to bid for access, as more people are using the automated betting and using more money for the automated betting. They then want to acquire more Tipcoins to ensure that their bets are placed first.

“No one’s done anything like this before, some people have talked about automated betting, but they don’t have the data we have. And from the response, it’s very much showing that there is a demand.”

Totally Gaming says: The sports betting market has been flooded with betting-focused cryptocurrencies over the past few months, all doing by-and-large the same thing, but Tipstrr appears to have identified a niche with Tipcoin. The automation feature could revolutionise the way we place bets.
