Service lauded as "Tier 1 offering but at a very competitive cost"

Metric Gaming has followed up the launch of its standalone, fully managed, end-to-end golf service, by responding to consumer demand and launching a new managed horse racing service.

Showcasing the new offering at this year's ICE Totally Gaming event, it is to follow the same line as its golf service, offering competitive product breadth and depth, innovative content and trading and risk management best practice.

Jim Supple, COO at Metric Gaming, has been speaking to TotallyGaming.com explaining the details of the new “best-of-breed” service: “Despite the fact that horse racing has always been at the core of betting, the spiralling costs associated with racing as a betting product has resulted in it becoming increasingly difficult for operators to offer a betting product that is both attractive to punters but at the same time also cost effective to manage.

“Metric Gaming are providing operators with the content and level of control that suits their needs, whether that's by taking our simple managed price feed or by opting for our fully managed service, which includes risk and customer management.

“We can offer a high degree of configuration and customisation that makes our product ideal for both the new brand looking to compete and also for the established operator.”

Before detailing how the firm plans to ensure that the new service stands out from the crowd: “The racing service that is on offer from Metric Gaming stands out for being a stand alone, fully managed from end to end racing solution that delivers a breadth and depth of coverage comparable to industry leading operators.

“Unlike many industry providers, Metric does not have legacy technology issues preventing our ability to build and innovate cutting edge tools and features.

“That ability, together with the influence of a hand picked specialist Trading team based in our London offices, has enabled us to develop our own trading tools, providing sustainable prices that are both accurate and competitive, with an exciting range of derived markets such as our Wincrease and Each Way Extra markets that were recently launched at ICE.

“Our fully managed service includes the latest in liability and running up money visibility and is supported by a detailed insight and analysis of customer betting behaviour. In summary, I would describe our service as a Tier 1 offering but at a very competitive cost.”

Totally Gaming says: Metric Gaming, and Supple in particular, seem very confident of the new horse racing service, and that it can be a cost effective solution for operators. With development and innovation key, these factors could well reflect whether it is a success moving forwards.
