Sports Information Services (SIS) has secured exclusive rights to distribute pictures and data from the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo racecourse in the Argentinean capital Buenos Aires.

The three-year deal allows SIS to broadcast live racing from the course’s 188 meetings and 1,500 races each year, significantly expanding its portfolio of international racing events.

This includes a number of prestigious races including the Gran Premio República, Gran Premio Polla de Potrillos y Potrancas, Gran Premio Selección, and Gran Premio Nacional

Coverage of the races will be made available across all SIS services, including its 24/7 Live Betting Channels service, which offers round-the-clock racing content.

“Securing the exclusive rights of live racing from the Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo racecourse is an important step in our ambitions to offer premium, round-the-clock action to operators and their customers across the globe,” SIS head of international racing Simon Fraser said.

“As a provider of 24/7 betting content, it’s imperative we have access to quality racing that will appeal to audiences wherever they are in the world, and this latest partnership achieves our goal in doing exactly that,” Fraser added.

Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo head of product Hernan Fucile said he was “thrilled” to partner SIS, noting that the company had established itself as a trusted racing content provider.

“With premium races taking place at our racecourse throughout the year and on a regular basis, we’re sure racing fans will enjoy the action available to them.”
