The launch follows on from Sirplay’s recent African expansion

Sirplay is aiming to elevate efficiency for retail betting ahead of the World Cup this summer, with the launch of its new Android betting terminals.

Following on from its recent expansion into the African market, Sirplay is aiming to release the "perfect solution for retail outlets", solving space, mobility and payment issues that land-based bookmakers have to face regularly.

The new betting terminals will be an all-in-one solution in different sizes and with different features such as POS, NFC technology, a scanner for betting tickets, user-friendly Android interface, image printing availability, etc.

When asked whether the terminals were created with the World Cup in mind, Bart Esposito CEO at Sirplay told “Recently, we were asked to develop new betting terminals from three different parts of the world, that was beyond the World Cup but sure one of the benefits of these portable terminals is to manage the big influx of bettors in small betting shops. Indeed, these betting terminals could definitely be a boost in view of the World Cup.”

Emphasising some of the key benefits of the terminals, he added: “The new portable betting terminals are solutions all-in-one, with POS, printer, Android Os, NFC technology, and all the benefits that come with these features.

“They are portable, small, user-friendly, fast and besides all this, they have two key benefits, they can fasten the betting times - and so the queue of customers - and they have a Sim-card slot to avoid any Internet connection issue.

“The queue is fastened also by the possibility for bettors to place the bet they have previously booked, doing all the process by themselves. On the other side, the broadcast connection is a guarantee in case of unstable Wifi. If you consider all this, there are no doubts on why customers from three different parts of the world asked us to provide them.”

Totally Gaming says: Improving the retail experience and evolving the customer journey can aide Sirplay’s offering ahead of this summer’s World Cup, which will provide suppliers with an unrivalled opportunity to standout from the crowd and showcase their products.
