Scientific Games partners with Caesars to launch Mississippi sports betting

The first bet in Mississippi was placed at the Caesars’ Horseshoe Tunica Hotel & Casino

Maximising its partnership with OpenBet, Scientific Games has united with Caesars Entertainment to usher in a new era of sports betting in the state of Mississippi.

On a landmark occasion, Caesars’ Horseshoe Tunica Hotel & Casino processed its inaugural bet on 14 August. Harrah’s Gulf Coast Hotel & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi also began offering sports betting on 20 August, marking another historic launch for Caesars.

Scientific Games’ deal with Caesars also includes solutions for its property in Atlantic City, New Jersey, which went live on 30 July 2018.
