Advancements come ahead of World Cup

With the Russian World Cup fast approaching, a number of cash-out enhancements have been revealed by Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) as it aims to drive operators turnover and customer engagement.

Amongst the improvements is an extension of the length of time that its cash-out option is to stay open regarding matches with strong favourites, strengthening the availability of the tool in multiple bets.

While punters would previously have had to wait until traders had settled results, the favourites price is now set to be factored in when a match is live, even if it is not available as a selection.

John Pettit, Managing Director for UK, Ireland, Asia, and Australia at Playtech BGT Sports, told TotallyGaming.com: “Cash-out is now a staple within digital betting and with the technology available, there’s no reason why retail customers shouldn’t have the same flexibility. With these improvements, we’re enhancing the betting shop experience in time for the World Cup which is likely to bring record turnover and a significant uptick in new customers.”

“We know the retail sector has and is facing challenges from online competition and in other areas, so it’s more important than ever to ensure its betting proposition is the strongest it can possibly be. The betting shop is the backbone of the UK industry and by introducing new technology and products, we’re confident it will remain that way.”

In addition, the tool is to also see a reduction of in-play suspension times, providing further enhancements to heighten a customers experience.

Through this improvement a significant rise in the available time that consumers can place and cash-out bets is to be seen, helping to achieve its dual aims.

As well as this tennis matches are to be no longer suspended when a change of ends occurs, margins are to be more consistent across market type and length of price and football matches will go live earlier following a match changing event.

Totally Gaming says: Through the variety of improvements made to its cash-out service PBS is aiming to deliver on a multitude of key benefits to all parties. With one of the largest sporting events just around the corner, such features could play a significant part in where revenues are garnered.
