Sportsbook approval follows the company securing a casino license for the Mr Green brand in December 2017

MRG, the operator formerly known as Mr Green, is to launch its full product portfolio in the Danish market after securing an online sports betting licence in the country. 

This will allow the operator to further develop its Danish presence, having secured a casino licence for its Mr Green brand in December 2017. 

MRG first entered the Danish market in February 2017 through the acquisition of Dansk Underholdning for an inital €9m. Through this deal it operates the and sites.

"It's great that we now can introduce our strong sportsbook offering also in Denmark,” MRG chief executive Per Norman commented.
