The technology provider has targeted expansion in 2018

Provider of API technology to the sports betting industry, LSports has revealed that it has expanded to reach 100,000 monthly pre-match available betting events.

With its extended sports coverage, the group is aiming to give sportsbooks the upper hand by maintaining an average of 100,000 pre-match betting events each month, as well as 30,000 in play betting events.

Dotan Lazar, co-founder of LSports, told TotallyGaming.com: “It’s our foremost motive to break down barriers in data and set higher standards for excellence in the industry. Our pre-match coverage sets a new ceiling for data within the sports betting industry and brings an end to operators’ struggle when it comes to providing the most data-filled and entertaining coverage for punters.”

LSports currently provides coverage of betting events spanning across 35 sports worldwide, maintaining that one of its key selling points is to offer content to sportsbooks 24 hours a day. Paying a specific focus to racing, the group also provides sportsbooks access to 1,300 races across 35 countries on a daily basis. 

The recent breakthrough follows on from LSports' innovative ‘new generation product’, which provides real time settling on pre-match bets. Describing the launch of the product, which aims to expand the offering for operators, Lazar stated: “The importance of an efficient in-play product can’t be understated, the ‘new generation product’ utilises efficient payout times to significantly increase customer retention for operators.

“As well as expanding the markets that are available to punters, with the product offering 30,000 live events per month, including from new sports like chess and sumo wrestling, something that can help operators gain a significant market advantage.”  

Looking ahead, LSports has signalled its intention to “continue setting standards in excellence”, by revealing that throughout 2018 it will unveil a host of new products to run alongside a wide range of product improvements.

Totally Gaming says: At the World Cup this Summer, sportsbooks will undoubtedly desire increased levels of data from suppliers. However, looking ahead to beyond the tournament, a key factor in customer retention will be an increased amount of betting events, therefore placing a focus in this could prove a beneficial move for LSports.
