Both deals fit well with the group’s strategy of targeting Tier 1 operators

The past week has seen Kambi Group further strengthen its foundations for future growth, after the B2B sports betting solutions group signed new deals with Bulgaria’s National Lottery and 888sport.

After reporting a 3% increase in second-quarter revenues to €14.1 million last week, Malta-licensed Kambi said it has signed a new, multi-year agreement to provide its sports betting and technology services to 7777, the online lottery and gaming brand owned by Bulgaria’s National Lottery AD.

With a customer base in excess of two million, 7777.bg is considered Bulgaria’s premier online lottery and gaming destination.

Last year, 7777.bg added a sports betting service to its portfolio. However, in order to meet growth objectives, the National Lottery has decided to upgrade to Kambi’s award-winning sportsbook.

Fully licensed and regulated by Bulgaria’s State Commission on Gambling, the operator already holds dominant positions in the lottery and gaming verticals. Now, following its partnership with Kambi, the group expects 7777.bg to become the country’s number one sportsbook.

It is anticipated 7777.bg will complete the switch to Kambi’s scalable and flexible solution during the fourth quarter of the year, at which point the brand will be fully equipped to gain sportsbook market share and compete effectively with Tier 1 operators.

“We share the same vision, which is to supply the best sports betting experience to 7777.bg’s customers; one that is engaging, entertaining and safe,” said Kambi CEO, Kristian Nylén.

The new partnership with Bulgaria’s National Lottery follows Kambi’s recent announcement that it had extended its existing contract with 888sport, the online sportsbook brand of 888 Holdings.

The two companies formed an initial partnership in 2013, with Kambi’s sportsbook helping 888sport achieve a five-fold increase in revenues.

Totally Gaming says: Kambi’s new contracts with 888sport and Bulgaria’s National Lottery is proof of the quality, stability and scalability of its sportsbook. Both deals fit well with the group’s strategy of targeting Tier 1 operators and market leaders, which is proven to bring revenue growth for both parties and cutting-edge sports betting experiences to players around the world.
