German sportsbook Mybet has announced that it will be the new co-sponsor and betting provider of Borussia Mönchengladbach for the upcoming two Bundesliga seasons.

Under the terms of the deal, the Mybet brand will be promoted in various ways within Gladbach’s famous 54,000-capacity Borussia Park Stadion.

The sponsorship package will also include the presentation of the Mybet logo on the team bus, advertising measures in the club’s own online, print and social media channels, as well as promotion options with players of the professional football team.

Sebastian Bucher of Mybet told “It is a great honour to co-operate with a club that has such a long-standing tradition. And, yes, we are planning to make special promotion offerings to Gladbach fans on a regular basis.”

“We are very pleased by this partnership with mybet as an established player in the sports betting market for more than 15 years,” added Guido Uhle, director of sponsoring, catering and events at Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Markus Peuler, CEO of mybet said: “Football is by far the most important sport when it comes to sports betting. As our newly developed online product platform is now operating, it was time for mybet to again be present on the stage of the football Bundesliga.

“With Borussia from Mönchengladbach we do support a club, whose image and development in the last couple of years fit our own goals perfectly.”
Totally Gaming says: Gladbach is a club steeped in history, and the Bundesliga team enjoys a global fanbase. Mybet’s added exposure at Borussia Park is set to get off to a strong start, as the team’s first game against FC Koln, in the hotly-contested Rheinland Derby, promises to be an incredible spectacle.
