Entourage Sports & Entertainment believes that David Haye is the perfect ambassador to elevate the EnergyBet brand, despite his surprise 11th round defeat against Tony Bellew.

The activation agency, which also counts planetwin365 and Titanbet among its clients, collaborated with Hayemaker to secure an agreement between David Haye and EnergyBet, a “dynamic new betting company in the UK market”, which started with Haye’s fight against Bellew at the O2 Arena last week.

As part of the deal, the former world cruiserweight and world heavyweight boxing champion provided exclusive content for EnergyBet followers and wore EnergyBet branded apparel for the fight that is estimated to have generated 700,000 pay-per-view sales.

Paul Brighten, the CEO at Entourage Sports & Entertainment, told “After working on the David Haye partnership for several months, we were delighted to get it over the line for EnergyBet in time for his big fight with Tony Bellew at the O2 Arena.

“The motivation for EnergyBet was finding the right ambassador to elevate their new and exciting brand. Most people know David Haye, not just for his exploits in the ring, but also as a big TV personality and revered boxing pundit.

“It was also crucial for the representation of the brand that they work with someone that is fun, outgoing and full of ‘Energy’. Despite the surprise result, we hope to be able to continue this partnership for many years to come.”

Totally Gaming says: EnergyBet has made a statement by aligning its brand with a successful athlete and TV personality who fits with their dynamic, ‘high energy’ philosophy. Despite the defeat for David Haye, in which he was hindered by an Achilles injury, Entourage Sports & Entertainment is confident that the long-term partnership will serve to enhance the EnergyBet public image.
