666Bet set for further expansion after BetConstruct and EveryMatrix migration

Online betting operator 666Bet has told TotallyGaming.com of its plans to expand further after it completed the migration of its sports betting and casino platforms onto BetConstruct and EveryMatrix respectively.

The operator migrated its sportsbook to the BetConstruct platform over the weekend while its online casino service is also now available on EveryMatrix.

Speaking to TotallyGaming.com about the BetConstruct migration in particular, a 666Bet spokesperson said the move will allow the operator to offer a much larger platform to its customers.

“We originally launched on Novigroup’s platform, but they are a smaller operator and it was only ever going to be a short-term association with them,” the spokesperson said.

“We are now in a position where we have a bigger platform and a better, more engaging website for our players. It is our aim to become a tier-one operator and we now have the platform to achieve that.”

The double migration comes at the end of a busy year for 666Bet, which, amongst other things, completed the acquisition of MetroPlay from DMG Media in September and, as a result, now operates under the MetroPlay Alderney gaming licence.

To accompany its initial launch in June, 666Bet has implemented a major marketing strategy that has seen it secure partnerships with a number of major sporting properties and events.

The operator boasts partnerships with English Premier League football clubs West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City, and also recently struck a sponsorship deal connected to Olympic gold medal-winning boxer Anthony Joshua’s first official title fight.

In addition, 666Bet served as the official betting partner of the Professional Darts Corporation’s 2014 Grand Slam of Darts, which took place in Wolverhampton, UK last month.

Looking ahead to next year, the spokesperson told TotallyGaming.com that 666Bet is looking to build on its initial success and establish itself as one of the major online betting operators in the UK market.

“We expanded pretty quickly in 2014 considering we only launched in June,” the spokesperson said. “Now that we have our platform and products in place, we are going to continue with our aggressive marketing strategy.

“We have invested heavily in both television advertising and sponsorship across a number of sports and that is something we are going to continue in 2015.

“We are very excited about the future for 666Bet and we look forward to providing a top class betting service for both our existing and new customers.”
