32Red has hailed the brand exposure and engaging content provided by the success of its jockey ambassadors at this week’s Cheltenham Festival.

Earlier this week, Nico de Boinville was confirmed as the latest addition to 32Red’s stable of racing experts, alongside Paddy Brennan, Bryan Cooper and Jamie Spencer.

The star jockey, a four-time Cheltenham winner going into this week, steered the great Altior to victory in Tuesday’s Racing Post Arkle, before backing that up on Might Bite in yesterday’s RSA Novices’ Chase. Meanwhile, Bryan Cooper rode a winner of his own on Apple’s Jade in the OLBG Mares’ Hurdle.

Gerry Murray, Director of Brand & Acquisition, told TotallyGaming.com: “Even though we’re only a week into our partnership with Nico, we couldn’t be happier with the way things have started. We knew the combination of his talent and rides meant a successful Festival was on the cards, but it’s never a forgone conclusion and it was a superb for us as a brand to be associated with his win on Altior, followed up with one of the best finishes you’re ever likely to see with Might Bite.

“Whether it’s on ITV, social channels or sports news sites it’s given us exceptional brand exposure over the first 48 hours of the Festival. With Bryan Cooper also winning brilliantly on Apple’s Jade and Paddy Brennan with Cue Card still to come, we couldn’t have hoped to be in a better position.

“What’s pleasing to see is that our jockey sponsorships aren’t just delivering us great brand exposure this week, but our existing customers are finding their regular content engaging and useful too. We revamped our blog to feature consistent racing content at the end of last year and with only half the month gone we’ve never seen more monthly visitors. This reaffirms our confidence that racing, alongside football and boxing, will continue to be key parts of our brand strategy moving forward.”

Totally Gaming says: In the first two days at Cheltenham, the hype generated by Altior was second only to the ultimately disappointing Douvan in the Champion Chase. Given that Nico de Boinville was the winning jockey on Altior, this was great brand exposure for 32Red, who have also been pleased with the impact of the engaging content provided by its growing set of ambassadors.
