Commercial Director / Head of Operations
The Role
Established, well regarded Virtual games supplier to the online gaming/gambling industry require an experienced individual to join the senior management team and be part of the next step in the journey.
The highly experienced founders currently cover areas of BD, marketing & operations, but the business is now in a situation in which the need to hire an individual to come in and take over the running of the business so they can focus on further relationships & more on the strategic elements
Making way for a Commercial Director / Head of Operations position
This role requires someone with a high level of commercial acumen, passion for sports and strong organisational skills. It will be a highly varied role, requiring the individual to be adaptable and very hands on.
The responsibilities will include (but not be limited too);
- Product Development & Deployment– new products
- Product Optimisation of existing products
- Setting the 1,2 & 5 year product road map (Overarching, rather than technical)
- Managing and working with technical resources to ensure projects are on track & deployment of projects is managed correctly
- Managing the production team to ensure all games content is on track and available
- Relationship management with 3rd partners
- Management of the Account Management team (that is being grown)
- Managing product launches, ensuring that everything has been thought through and is executed with precision
- Hiring & growing the team as needed & ensuring a strategy is in place to support growth plans
- Identify new opportunities for new market entry
- Working with the founders to ensure there is a strong business strategy in place to achieve commercial objectives
The person
- Ideally high level of virtual product experience
- Demonstrable experience in growing a team
- Good Product knowledge
- Strong relationship management experience
- Good technical deployment skills
- A strong ‘hands on’ ethos
- A willingness to travel
