ICE TV donates to Young Gamblers Education Trust

Wednesday, February 7, 2018

The last two airtime packages bought on ICE TV have enabled the team to donate £400 to YGAM, the Young Gamblers Education Trust, Clarion’s chosen charity.

YGAM is a UK registered charity with a social purpose “to inform, educate and safeguard young people against problematic gambling and social gaming.”

The charity was founded by a former problem gambler and YGAM has been working with the gambling industry and wider stakeholders for over three years to contribute to the delivery of the UK’s Responsible Gambling Strategy Board's (RSGB) National Responsible Gambling Strategy, Priority Action 8: Education to Minimise Gambling-Related Harm.

Lee Willows, YGAM Chief Executive said ‘I am hugely grateful to ICE TV for their generous offer and support of our work.”

YGAM is making its debut appearance at ICE 2018 and has a stand in the Consumer Protection Zone – stand CPZ4.

“We’d love to chat to colleagues about our social impact and how we might work together,” Willows said.
