BBIN prepares for ICE 2019
With weeks to go until ICE 2019, BBIN shares insight to its preparations
Following their first appearance at ICE in 2017, BBIN is looking forward to their participation at the upcoming event in February 2019.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of BBIN, and to celebrate this the brand is renewing its core values, aiming to use ICE as a platform to demonstrate and remind the industry of its dedication to the Asian market territory and the opportunity that this region represents.
BBIN’s campaign for 2019 is suitably named the ‘Next leap’ as the company looks into the future towards new potential developments and opportunities for its integrated services, technical support and ambitions for innovation.
Asian market speciality
Despite varying degrees of technological advancement and cultural allowances, Asia represents 60% of the world’s population, making it no surprise that igaming businesses the world over look at the region as an area of opportunity in the future.
However, due to the intricacies of regulation, culture and technology in Asia, entering at any stage may pose a significant challenge.
Over its 20 years, BBIN has striven to cultivate a reputation as market leaders in Asia, holding a high market share and aiming for optimal customer satisfaction.
As a result of this, the company has developed an understanding of how the various regional markets operate, and how best to succeed accordingly. With access to its network and resources in the area, too, BBIN hopes to partner with international brands that have ambitions to enter the region.
As an igaming software supplier, BBIN has managed local markets including China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand.
Handling worldwide operations
In order to further its development and strategic opportunities, BBIN has dedicated time and effort into building partnerships and integrating resources the world over with the aim of diversifying its products and meeting the evolving needs of clients. For instance, its extended product lines were facilitated by collaborating with over 20 brands including Microgaming, Playtech, HABANERO, iSoftBet, Genesis, Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming and BetConstruct.
Currently, BBIN also supplies 14 varieties of live casino games, over 40 types of lottery, over 100 kinds of casino games and 40,000 sports events for betting, including e-sports. This selection hopes to supply for the different cultures and regulations in Asia.
Also of note is BBIN’s back-end system, which the company has developed in order to support worldwide operations by offering large volumes of data analysis capabilities across different metrics.
Presenting innovation at ICE
The upcoming ICE event presents the company with an opportunity to demonstrate and discuss some of its developments from 2018 as well as provide insight into the next steps for the company as we move into 2019.
Last year, BBIN launched a new interactive interface for Live Casino products with the aim of providing a more immersive and real-time table-betting experience with the view to improve user experience.
With mobile device penetration on the rise across the world, player expectations are changing significantly, which BBIN also aimed to address with the development with its iBB application. Since its launch in 2016, 40% of players use this platform. More recently, BBIN has rolled out a customised service in the app which is also gaining traction.
Also, the company developed cross-platform transfer tech and an interface upgrade to allow more intuitive operation and seamless transition between different platforms and electronic devices.
This and more will be open for discussion at ICE, BBIN promises, inviting an international audience to meet them at stand N6-165 from February 5-7 with the hopes of forming further alliances and collaborations.
