New product hits 200 betting shops

Perform will look to showcase the benefits of its premium retail content in Italy, after partnering with Coral European betting subsidiary Eurobet to integrate its new live-streaming product in 200 betting shops across the country.

Perform will provide Eurobet with access to 16,500 video matches and 100,000 match visualisations each year, with on-screen match action tracking for major sporting competitions such as the English Premier League.

The coverage includes the broadcast of ‘multi-language’ content for football, tennis, basketball, ice hockey and cricket, within a streaming partnership supported by Perform sports data and insight divisions’ Watch&Bet and RunningBall.

Andrew Ashenden, vice-president of betting at Perform, told TotallyGaming.com: “The agreement we have signed with Eurobet is a great showcase for how premium content can be optimized in a retail network. The Perform Retail solution allows bookies to create their own schedule through as many channels as they need. It’s totally flexible, customizable and centrally manageable.

“Our aim is to give bookmakers the tool to improve the customer experience within the retail shop environment, by offering them premium content on which they can bet at any time of the day.”

Carlo di Maio, Eurobet’s sportsbook director, said he was very pleased to be able to roll out the Perform service to its retail customers: “Customers can now – in-shop – watch and bet live on major competitions not covered by standard TV channels.”

Totally Gaming says: By partnering with Perform, Eurobet will gain better flexibility and scheduling of sports content to further engage its customer base, whilst Perform will get the platform to showcase the benefits of its live-streaming product in 200 retail shops across Italy.
