Yggdrasil was awarded a licence by the GLA in June 2016

‘Be prepared to be blown away’ is the message to ICE delegates from CEO Fredrik Elmqvist, after Yggdrasil Gaming secured a direct integration deal with FTSE-listed betting operator William Hill.

The William Hill signing marks the fourth operator deal for Yggdrasil since the company was awarded a licence by the Gibraltar Licensing Authority (GLA) to offer its platform and software services to Gibraltar-based operators in June 2016.

Following on from similar deals with Lottoland, bet365 and bwin party, Yggdrasil’s full suite of games will be integrated on ‘UK Tier 1’ bookmaker William Hill, who will also utilise the provider’s unique in-game promotional tool BOOST, and social sharing function BRAG.

Just a week before the industry’s flagship conference, Elmqvist told TotallyGaming.com: “We’re really excited to have announced a deal with such a respected a tier one operator as William Hill ahead of ICE. It’s going to be the biggest show ever for us this year.

“We’ve made a habit of introducing industry firsts over the past couple of years and we’ve got more planned for ICE. I’m not going to reveal exactly what just yet, but make sure you come along to the Yggdrasil Temple (stand N3-140) and be prepared to be blown away!”

Totally Gaming says: William Hill is the latest in a line of major operators to sign with Yggdrasil since the company strengthened its regulatory licensing last summer. The games and platform provider is now accredited by the gambling authorities in the UK, Malta, Gibraltar and Romania.
