Snowcat Group signs Game Asset Agreement with Playson

Monday, March 31, 2014

Snowcat Group announced that its subsidiary, Snowcat Games OÜ, has signed a long-term world-wide agreement for the integration and distribution of Playson Limited’s entire portfolio of games – for both virtual and physical distribution channels. Under terms of the agreement Snowcat will integrate the Playson material onto the platforms of a number of industry partners.

Snowcat’s Rankin said: “Playson has fresh new material as well as tried and true games across a number of delivery models, from mobile to desktop to land, so they are a natural fit for the ‘new-age’ customers we are dealing with, who want cross-platform compatibility, new and innovative games and top-performing revenues.  Playson has what our customers want and this is what we plan to deliver.”

Playson's Managing Director Adam Daniel added: “I’ve known Snowcat’s founders from business associations long before the Snowcat Group came into being and we know that we can trust them to deliver great partnerships and business models, along with superior technical expertise, for us to combine together.  When combined with Playson’s extensive range of innovative and proven products, we will help Snowcat deliver high-revenue games and open up new markets and new gaming sites for us both – a ‘win-win’ situation all around.”
