SHFL Entertainment has been granted an unlimited Category Two iGaming licence by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. The global gaming supplier stated the licence will help it with the further provision of iGaming business-to-business operations in legal European jurisdictions.

“We are excited to expand the reach and exposure of our growing online content portfolio, which includes some of the most compelling table game brands in the world,” said Gavin Isaacs, Chief Executive Officer for Las Vegas-based SHFL Entertainment.

“By enabling us to house our recently acquired equipment at a data centre in Alderney, this licence allows us to be physically closer to the data centres of many of the world's leading online gaming operators, resulting in better performance and closer content integration.”

“Alderney regulators have worked extremely hard over a number of years to create a centre of excellence for the regulation of online gambling,” said Robin Le Prevost, Director of eCommerce Development for Alderney.

“That hard work is amply rewarded when companies of SHFL Entertainment’s calibre elect to be licensed and regulated by Alderney as a key location for their online activities.

“SHFL Entertainment joins an ever-growing community of the world's leading online operators and service providers, which has established Alderney as the leading jurisdiction for online gambling. We welcome SHFL Entertainment and wish it great success with this new venture.”
