TotallyGaming.com: How many markets are your Virtual Sports products now live in?

Steve Rogers: "Inspired is the leading worldwide supplier of Virtual Sports. It provides 11 sports and four numbers games to land-based, online and mobile operators across 40,000 venues and over 200 web and mobile sites, across 35 countries. As the market leader, Inspired offers the best content to more venues, driving more revenue for operator partners."

TotallyGaming.com: Do you have any plans to launch them anywhere else?

SR: "Inspired Virtual Sports are established and proven in the online and mobile space in Europe, particularly with major bookmakers and members of the World Lottery Association. Inspired's Virtual Sports lottery products are also supplied to the National Sports Lottery in China through AGT. Inspired has just announced the long-term agreement of its Virtuals in the Philippines with the DFNN Group of Companies and an agreement with Betancur in Colombia, becoming the first provider of Virtuals in both territories."

TotallyGaming.com: Which national markets would you say are the most important to this part if the business and why?

SR: "As well as Asia-Pacific, there are huge growth opportunities for Inspired’s Virtual Sports proposition in the US. Inspired added Basketball to its roster for the first time in Las Vegas and expects this 11th game addition to its games line-up to enable it to break the US market for its Virtual Sports product. As Inspired is a global company, with offices all over the world, it is able to service new markets in-country, with local teams. Just this year it opened an office in Rome.

"Inspired prides itself on researching markets and adapting its roadmap to align with player preferences. Inspired is an expert in betting markets and its pricing algorithms are the most developed on the market; constantly following live sports trends. Inspired also has an in-house team to create its own games, unlike other companies that just aggregate content."

TotallyGaming.com: How much potential does the Virtual Sports market have? Is there plenty of demand for these types of products?

SR: "Inspired has over a decade of experience in launching its Virtual Sports into new markets. It is the sole provider of Virtual Sports to the UK, Chinese markets and it has over 90 per cent market share in Italy. Inspired’s Virtual Sports enable governments and operators to drive structured and incremental revenue – there is huge demand and Inspired is experiencing excellent year-on-year growth as it extends its global footprint.

"By investing heavily in graphics, Inspired is able to stay ahead of the competition – by innovating it ensures that its customers are getting the best products on the market today."

TotallyGaming.com: How important is the Virtual Sports business to Inspired Gaming as a whole?

SR: "Inspired’s Virtual Sports has a long-term strategic focus for the business. Inspired has the most robust and comprehensive server-based VLT and Virtual Sports technology stack worldwide – over 90 per cent of the company’s revenues are from its digital server-based video lottery terminal, Virtual Sports and mobile products. Since the end of 2013, Inspired has had over 10 million bets per month on its Virtual Sports products across its retail, online and mobile channels.

"Inspired is investing heavily in a five-year product roadmap for its Virtuals products covering upgrades to the existing sports, new sports and numbers games and the delivery of completely new technology taking advantage of cutting edge technology platforms. All of Inspired’s existing and new customers will be able to take advantage of the most innovative product enhancement strategy on the market.

"Inspired’s wide-range of premium Virtual products are proven to generate in excess of €7bn of revenue and €1bn of gross win every year. From a standing start, Inspired’s Virtual Sports have supported the development of a €1bn per annum market in Italy in just one year."
