PokerHigh, India’s fastest growing online poker website, has signed Bollywood superstar Arjun Rampal as its brand ambassador.

Discussing the tie-up, Mithun Rebello, co-founder and managing director at PokerHigh, said: “We are proud to associate with Arjun Rampal, who truly reflects the modern, aspirational and fun persona of the PokerHigh brand and its users.

“He understands poker as a sport and is a true ambassador of the game. We are committed to delivering a memorable online entertainment experience to India, and believe that this association with Arjun will enable us to take our brand philosophy to new heights.”

PokerHigh is India’s fastest growing and 100% legal online poker site. It was among the first few sites to be issued a licence for online poker under the ‘Nagaland Prohibition of Gambling and Promotion and Regulation of Online Games of Skill Act 2016’.

“For anyone in India with internet access, PokerHigh instantly lets you play poker, anytime, anywhere and on any device,” Rebello told TotallyGaming.com. “We have designed our daily freerolls, tournaments and cash leaderboards with this vision in mind. We want to make playing poker easy and enjoyable for all Indians.”

“The response and support from the community has been overwhelming, with a lot of compliments on our software, which is deemed by the community as one of the best in India. We are constantly working to come up with new features to keep India entertained with poker.”

The news of PokerHigh’s signing of Rampal as brand ambassador follows the company’s recent partnership with Europe’s biggest poker room, King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.

After winning the Indian online satellite tournament, hosted by PokerHigh, Rajat Sharma was awarded a €3,000 prize package to play the PartyPoker Festival Main Event, which took place at the casino last week. He made it through to the second day of the competition.

Totally Gaming says: Poker sites aimed at European and North American players have been utilising brand ambassadors for many years. The signing of Bollywood star Arjun Rampal to PokerHigh marks a continuation of this tradition, but with a unique Indian twist.
