A breakdown of some of the more interesting figures to emerge from the gambling industry in the past seven days.

30,000 - The number of greyhound races that SIS provides coverage of across 20 UK tracks. It’s the content streaming partnership with SIS that Australian gambling operator Tabcorp has attributed its strong start to the UK greyhound season to. According to Brett Gorman, General Manager of International at Tabcorp: “Early indications show our customers have welcomed the new greyhound racing product from the UK”.

657 - Kambi Group Plc’s rank in the inaugural Financial Times ‘European 1000’ Fastest Growth Index. The Stockholm Nasdaq-listed sports betting software and platform provider reported revenue of  €19.1 million in 2012, and €47.7 million in 2015, an increase of 150%. The list considers growth in revenues between 2012 and 2015, and thus Kambi is well ranked.

1,000+ - The portfolio size of the Bwin brand following NYX OGS games being integrated. Toronto listed NYX Gaming Group announced it had expanded its GVC content partnership, with NYX OGC games being integrated by GVC’s flagship Bwin brand. GVC Holdings Chief Product Officer Liron Snir commented: “This is another big step towards our objective to build the best casino in the market. NYX are a premium developer and we are thrilled to be able to offer their highly popular games to our players.”

50%  - The tax hike implemented by Kenya’s National Alliance government on all licensed gambling activities. It’s been under staunch criticism since from industry and sporting stakeholders and they may now move to review the rate. It follows lawsuits from Bradley Trading against the Treasury, Kenya’s licensing body and the Treasury Secretary for implementing an “improper tax hike”.

£25 million - The amount that William Hill detailed they had taken in Grand National Bets. Overall it wasn’t a fantastic day for bookmakers, with One For Arthur a popular pick with Scottish punters and popular runners Blaklion, Cause of Causes and Saint Are all making the top five.

750 - The size of the ISS Mobile Engineer network who will now be providing services to Paddy Power Betfair. The firm awarded its retail maintenance contract for its portfolio of 600+ Paddy Power betting shops across the UK and Ireland to facility management specialist ISS.
