NeoGames granted Danish licence

Malta-based scratchcard games developer NeoGames has been awarded a Danish operator licence by the country's gaming authority. NeoGames has already signed deals with a host of marketing and media companies to launch websites targeting the instant win and soft-casino market in Denmark.

“We have high hopes and are thrilled to enter the newly regulated market in Denmark,” NeoGames managing director Shay Bar-Joseph said. “As we have learned in other regulated markets, such as Italy and Belgium, there is a true market need for an offering that does not necessarily focus on hardcore casino, but rather combines a softer and more mass market approach.”

“The fact that we already have a few customers that will launch their sites immediately is yet another demonstration of our strategy,” he added.
