The tournament runs from 24 August until 3 September

European bookmaker, LVBet has announced that it has is the official sponsor of the men’s European volleyball championships, EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017.

The tournament will begin on 24 August and culminate on 3 September, with the opening match alone expected to be watched by more than 50,000 spectators.

The deal marks LVBet’s continued support for Polish support. It’s already the main sponsor of Ektraklasa club Wisła and the official betting partner and sponsor of the well supported Liga 3 football club Widzew Łódź.

LVBet, has also supported MMA events and sponsored the high-profile Kölner Haie ice hockey team in Germany.

Polish Country Manager Michal Jasinski told TotallyGaming: “For LVBet, sponsoring EUROVOLLEY POLAND 2017 is a huge honour, on several levels.

“Obviously we are excited about the exposure the brand will receive, but we are also thrilled to be helping make the event possible for all the fans and teams. Though any sponsorship like this is, necessarily, about business, it is also so much more for us, because we are also genuinely passionate sports fans ourselves.

LV BET’s sponsorship of the European Volleyball Championships will include a TV and digital campaign, starting in the middle of August, and will feature a range of promotional competitions with exciting prizes, including tickets for the opening match.

Jasinski said: “This will be the biggest campaign yet for LVBet, and is a truly 360-degree project, with exposure on television, radio, social media and the biggest Polish portals.

“We will be enjoying coverage on Polsat, one of the most popular domestic Polish TV channels, through a digital campaign on onet.pl (visited by around 80% of Polish internet users), interia.pl, siatka.org, and social media in cooperation with Krzysztof Ignaczak on laczynaspasja.pl.

“On 24th August, before the opening game, LVBet will be holding two epic events that will engage fans directly. In Kraków old town, we will be aiming to set a Guinness world record for the largest number of people playing volleyball at the same time – we are expecting thousands! At the same time, in front of Warsaw’s National Stadium, we will be holding a game with Krzysztof Ignaczak and two well-known morning show presenters from Radio Zet; Damian Michałowski and Michał Korościel."

LV BET has also announced that its ambassador for the tournament will be Polish volleyball icon, Krzysztof Ignaczak.

Jasinski continued: “Krzysztof Ignaczak is not only a World and European Champion, but also one of the most charismatic and well-loved figures in the sport, so having him on board is brilliant for the LVBet brand.

“As a company, we always strive to be authentic and convey our true passion for sports, and from our very first meeting we realised that Ignaczak shares this ethos, so we are confident it will be a great relationship.

“Moving forward, LVBet will be focusing on creating an entire world of sports - based around our sportsbook, but also giving people exclusive insights, content and experiences. Ambassadors who share LVBet’s values, like Ignaczak, will be critical to helping us effectively engage with sports fans.”

Totally Gaming says: The way LVBet has embraced the sponsorship of this popular tournament, speaks volumes about the potential exposure that this partnership can bring. Furthermore, LVBet’s decision to pick well loved Polish sportsmen, Krzysztof Ignaczak as the bookmaker’s tournament ambassador will only serve to elevate the positive exposure gained during the tournament.
