Gamification can help operator to ‘stand out’ from rivals

Hero Gaming is looking to expand its gamification offering after agreeing a content provision deal with developer Yggdrasil Gaming.

The online casino will offer Yggdrasil’s entire product suite, including 16 slots, the super free spins promotional concept and iSENSE 2.0, an HTML5 framework that means games can be launched simultaneously and seamlessly on both desktop and mobile.

Magnus Alebo, chief executive of Hero Gaming and former Betsson head of marketing, is particularly encouraged by the possibilities provided by Yggdrasil’s Infinite API for ramification.

“Our vision is to redefine online casino and create wow experiences for our customers, which I’m sure Yggdrasil can help us continue to deliver,” said Alebo, whose company was launched in 2014 and runs the CasinoHeroes and Casitabi online casinos.

“Their games portfolio is excellent and their Infinite API for gamification is particularly appealing for us. This is an area where we believe we stand out from other casinos and it makes sense to partner with suppliers that are experts in this field.”

Yggdrasil launched Infinite API earlier this year, stating that the product could “help operators to boost their customer engagement”.
