The online supplier has been awarded ISO 27001 certification

Bede Gaming is one of a handful of suppliers with the “highest level of security” after being granted ISO 27001 certification by the International Standards Organisation (ISO).

The online gaming supplier has been awarded the certified status in recognition of its ability to meet strict ISO requirements when dealing with information security, and provide a secure platform to operators in regulated markets across the world.

ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security, awarded by the ISO following a comprehensive and complete audit. This independently assessed certification demonstrates Bede’s level of preparation for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from May 2018.

Michael Brady, CEO, Bede Gaming, told TotallyGaming.com: “Data security has never been more important, particularly with the General Data Protection Regulation due to become law next year. Operators and consumers alike are now far more aware of security risks and are demanding, rightly so, better, more robust measures when it comes to protecting data.

“ISO 27001 is significant for Bede Gaming because it puts us among only a handful of suppliers to have been awarded the highest level of security certification. This establishes Bede as the trusted choice for operators looking for peace of mind and a world-class flexible platform.

“Bede has emerged as a secure and credible alternative to legacy platforms by focusing on delivering operators with a solution that matches the requirements of the modern gaming market. This security certification proves that we surpass other suppliers on important issues like security and tech integration without impacting our agility.”

Totally Gaming says: With operators demanding the highest level of online safety, Bede Gaming has undertaken the ISO 27001 process to display its commitment to security. This is an important step for the company, which already works with Tier 1 operator Rank Group, as the industry prepares for the new GDPR from next May.
