Addressing the digital shift: New business venture for Snack Media

Snack Media has confirmed the launch of Snack Gaming, a new venture designed to address the balance for sponsors, betting companies, rights holders, publishers and broadcasters, now that a higher proportion of marketing is being carried out digitally.

The joint venture between Snack Media Co-Founder Niall Coen, Generate Sponsorship Co-Founder Rupert Pratt and Silent Manager Founder Jon Trigg, will utilise the Snack Media network of over 20 million unique users to acquire, engage and monetize digital fan engagement for its clients.

On the prospect of new clients for its network, Pratt told TotallyGaming.com: “We will be announcing a number of new clients shortly, including the development of a bespoke fantasy sports betting platform and a new social media app aimed at 18-35-year-old males.”

The new business will mix the development and licensing of existing digital platforms such as fantasy sports leagues, predictor games and quizzes, with other new products for the market.

Pratt added: “We have developed some new products such as ‘Team Selector’, which enhances how amateur/grass roots teams announce their squads. We have also developed content with inbuilt commercial models, which we are providing royalty free to rights holders and publishers.

“Again, both of these will be announced shortly. We also want to work with clients, partners and investors to develop and monetize new products into the marketplace.”

Emphasising this desire to launch new products, he also pointed to the creation of ‘The Punter’, an aggregation tool aimed at sports betters, alongside its ‘Beat the Bookie’ widget and Predictor Game with a multi-bet feature built in, while a fantasy pool bet platform is currently in development.

Totally Gaming says: This is an important development for Snack Media, a company that has developed campaigns and platforms for clients such as 888 Sport, Betway, Betsafe, Titan Bet, Energy Bet and Ladbrokes. Snack Gaming will work alongside its clients and their agencies to market campaigns and products, with the support of a network boasting more than 20 million unique users.
