Social media's been busy again this week with Eurovision fast approaching and Trump's latest antics.

Last week the Twitter world was dominated by politics as the French elections came to a close and the UK local elections revealed an unfortunate outcome for all but the Tories. The market for the French election proved popular throughout for bettors and those who are vocal on social media. This week though, things are slightly less serious. With everyone’s favourite song contest Eurovision taking place on Saturday it has been a popular topic in the wonderful world of Twitter. Add to that the latest furoré surrounding Donald Trump and a classic DFS joke and it’s safe to say there has been an eclectic mixture of fantastic social media this week.

Ex William Hill Media Relations Director and co-founder of the William Hill SportsBook of the Year award Graham Sharpe may well be a fan of Eurovision as he has been posting regular updates on the odds:

Whilst many believe that Brexit may mean that the UK is set for a staggering zero points, Guy Harding, Head of Commercial at Oddschecker links an article suggesting that bookmakers believe quite the opposite:

Mike Smithson, political analyst and bettor jested about the link between Brexit and Eurovision following a bizarre recent YouGov survey:

Away from Eurovision and Dustin Gouker, a man who often tweets around the legal aspects and challenges that the daily fantasy sports industry faces swapped serious tweets regarding legislation for a bit of sofa related fun:

Meanwhile, Paddy Power’s mild obsession with Donald Trump has been well documented - with a huge array of markets surrounding the White House occupant. Following the latest stir and dismissal of the FBI director, Paddy Power revealed their market and have priced Springfield’s finest officer at 500/1 to take the role:
