Love Island has achieved record-breaking viewing figures for ITV2

Gaming Realms, the UK-based developer of next-generation mobile gaming content, has entered into an agreement with ITV Commerce and Ventures and Storm Games to build and operate new gaming products based on the successful television show, Love Island.

Produced by ITV Studios, Love Island is an interactive reality dating show, where a group of singles spend seven weeks living in a luxury villa looking for fun, romance and love in the sun.

Hosted on Gaming Realms’ award-winning mobile platform, the new games service is available at, and new themed games will be added to the offering over the coming weeks.

“The site is launched and we have some Love Island instant win games from IWG,” Patrick Southon, CEO of Gaming Realms, told “We are working with Storm to create more branded content.”

Love Island is currently being aired on ITV2 and has achieved record-breaking audience viewing figures for the channel, with over 1.5 million people watching on a regular basis.

“We are hopeful that after the show we may be able to engage some of the talent to help us via social media channels,” Southon said.

Totally Gaming says: Gaming Realms’ latest licensing deal follows recent agreements to create branded gaming content for Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor. Love Island’s record-breaking audience viewing figures is indicative of the brand’s strong value, and the show’s popularity should enable it to break into the mobile gaming space with ease.
