The ceremony will be held tonight at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London

LOT.TO, the world’s leading provider of online lottery games, is to sponsor the Inspirational Health Team category at tonight’s 2017 WellChild Awards.

Supported by patron Prince Harry, WellChild is the national charity for sick children, making it possible for children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home.

The Inspirational Health Team Award recognises teams of doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals who work together to make a huge difference to the lives of seriously ill children.

Rob Lawson, Head of Customer Success at LOT.TO, told TotallyGaming.com: "It's important to give something back when you're in business and I can't think of a better cause than WellChild.

“Working in healthcare is a true vocation and, by working together, these teams achieve great things for the young people who benefit from their help and support."

Colin Dyer, CEO of WellChild, added: “We’re delighted to have LOT.TO onboard as an award sponsor for the first time.

“Our corporate partners are key to making the WellChild Awards such a massive success year after year. Teams in the healthcare sector do a vital job, day after day, so it’s wonderful to recognise them in this way.”

The Awards, held at London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, feature seven categories in total, and will be judged by an expert panel including children’s health researchers, former winners and health professionals.

LOT.TO is committed to modernising perceptions of the lottery, and claim they are on a mission to “make lotteries more appealing, more accessible, and, above all, more fun and engaging for new players, offering captivating mobile and online lottery games with the potential to raise millions of pounds for good causes in the UK and beyond.”

Totally Gaming says: The LOT.TO group is renowned for its philanthropy, and it’s difficult to think of a worthier cause than the WellChild Awards. These Awards shine a light on the amazing work of healthcare professionals who would otherwise be overlooked, and the sponsorship agreement between LOT.TO and WellChild is undoubtedly a mutually beneficial one.
