Instant win game offered through Gamevy partnership

Gamevy, the supplier and operator of real money games, has teamed up with the Health Lottery on QuickWin, a new TV style instant win Lotto offering.

The new streamed game, which will feature a draw every three minutes, aims to heighten consumers entertainment experience, and features Channel 5 presenter Anna Johnson.

Based around The Health Lottery’s main game, players must select five numbers between 1 and 50, or alternatively can opt for a random ‘Quick Pick.’

One in six tickets will be a winner, with prizes ranging from a free ticket through to the guaranteed jackpot of £25,000.

Helen Walton, Gamevy founder and chief commercial officer, told TotallyGaming.com: “Lottery needs to continually reinvent itself in order to appeal to a new generation of players, people who are used to immediacy in their interactions with gaming and not waiting a week for the result.

“At the same time, The Health Lottery wanted to bring out the entertaining nature of the draw itself, [with] a friendly host and messaging that directly reacts to your experience when you win or lose, for example."

Adding: “The TV-style nature of the QuickWin game really connects to The Health Lottery's brand and their weekly televised draw, and allows them to showcase how much they do with local good causes.

“Something that allows players to have a real connection with what their play helps support, plus, of course, the game has more prize levels and a 1 in 6 win rate.

“We're really proud of the game and how it looks. Indeed, we may take the concept further with live and TV-style versions of other games, who knows.”

Under the Health Lottery scheme, 20p from every £1 QuickWin ticket sold will raise money for health related causes across Great Britain, with over £93m already having been raised.

Totally Gaming says: Lottery is a tried and tested format worldwide, however, its appeal could be accused of being on the wane in recent times. Through this partnership with Gamevy, The Health Lottery are attempting to adapt to an ever changing market, and gain some traction with this instant win offering.
