Continuing its strategy for global expansion, online lottery operator Jackpot.com has added a lottery messenger proposition to its licence in Malta.

This latest addition, which was approved by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), enhances the Jackpot.com product offering, providing it the flexibility needed to expand into territories with dynamic, changing regulatory environments.

Discussing the benefits of the company’s new lottery messenger proposition, Yariv Ron, CEO of Jackpot.com, told TotallyGaming: “There are territories that do not allow and do not plan to allow betting on secondary lotteries, and in some of these territories there are opportunities to provide a messenger service.

“We expect to have at least one such significant territory over the course of the next six to eight months, and we continue to evaluate other areas where this can be a solution. It is part of our overall strategy to be the world’s leading lottery provider, with multiple product offerings and platforms per territory as per the regulatory confinements."

Ron added: “Jackpot.com has grown significantly since its launch in August 2016, adding 17 lotteries, six languages, an industry-leading mobile version and many additional features to its offering.

“We now have three licenses (UK, Ireland, Malta), and expect to add additional licences during the second half of 2017. In addition, two major product releases are scheduled in the upcoming months that will significantly enhance our offering to our expanding base of customers, one of which recently won €250,000 in the EuroMillions.”

TotallyGaming says: Jackpot.com allows users the chance to bet on the outcome of 17 of the biggest and most popular lottos from around the world. The addition of the new lottery messenger service will further widen the company’s scope and enable greater choices to customers in more markets around the world.
