Lotto Warehouse CEO Thomas Biro speaks to Totally Gaming

Lottery is undoubtedly a very lucrative market and has an extensive reach worldwide, however, could it be a reputation lottery betting can be accused of not yet living up to?

Lotto Warehouse has the ability to add a portfolio of some of the world’s biggest lotteries to platforms, the benefits of which seem very transparent.

Thomas Biro, CEO of Lotto Warehouse, has been speaking to TotallyGaming.com about this popularity and the necessity to offer consumers something a little different: “Casino players are consistently attracted to big jackpots, we can see this by looking at the popularity of progressive jackpot slots," he said.

“The biggest jackpots on these games are around €7/€8 million, but we’re able to offer jackpots worth hundreds of millions. It’s a powerful cross-sell tool for these players.

“Speaking more generally, lottery is hugely popular worldwide and our offering allows players to win jackpots not available in their home countries and to try their luck on something different. It’s got such broad appeal.”

Biro added: “Compared to sports betting and casino, lottery betting is still very small, yet the lottery industry worldwide is valued at $300 billion, which means there’s still huge potential for other operators to add this exciting and lucrative vertical to their offering.

“We’re speaking to several big operators and look forward to announcing some additional partnerships in the near future.”

Yobetit, which offers customers a range of traditional sports betting in addition to in play and specialist markets, is the latest to announce an integration partnership with Lotto Warehouse.

Users of the Maltese based sports betting operator will now be able to take advantage of the vast jackpots on offer across 15 worldwide lotteries, including the USA’s record breaking Powerball and Europe’s top two of EuroMillions and EuroJackpot.

Speaking of this latest link up, Biro commented: “Yobetit are an ambitious, fast growing operator and their belief in our product is a testament to its strength and to lottery betting in general.

“Gaming and sports betting operators are increasingly waking up to the power of lottery betting and we’re the best option for a simple and efficient integration.”

Totally Gaming says: Lottery has an appeal across a variety of markets worldwide, however, the key is leveraging that into an online arena and betting on foreign draws. With a promise of more lotteries to be offered and more partnerships to be announced, it seems the vertical could well be growing and could be set to become a big player.
