The provider will return as the exclusive event partner in 2017

The TVC Bookmakers Trade Fair has added a “new dimension” to the show for 2017, with a Keynote Theatre headlined by exclusive event partner OPTIMA.

OPTIMA, a licensed B2B provider of turnkey sports betting and gaming solutions, has been confirmed as the main partner for the second year running, and will be kicking off the day’s Theatre action with a presentation on Serverless EPOS and Self-Service Betting Terminals (SSBTs).

Joining OPTIMA at the Cranmore Park Conference Centre in Solihull on 26 October will be Howard Chisholm from the Bookmakers Technology Consortium (BTC), discussing the challenges presently faced by the independent sector and areas where BTC can assist bookmakers.

Meanwhile, Graham Burgin and Stephen Foster from the Gambling Commission will be providing an update on the Commission’s current priorities, along with advice on its compliance approach and feedback on findings from assessments undertaken on independent retail bookmakers.

The TVC Bookmakers Trade Fair attracts a range of stand holders, from suppliers of software systems, screens, gaming machines and terminals to security and printing services, and from regulatory body the Gambling Commission to industry organisations IBAS, GamCare and the ABB.

Mike Oliver, Marketing Manager at TVC, told TotallyGaming.com: “The 2016 show was extremely popular, with 18% more visitors than in 2015, including representatives of Betfred, William Hill and Paddy Power. We were very conscious of retaining the feel and atmosphere generated by last year’s event, while introducing a new dimension with a Keynote Theatre.”

Totally Gaming says: TVC’s aim is to demonstrate that technology can provide the betting and gaming industry with the solutions to redefine, enhance and increase sales. Having kept the format constant for a couple of years, last year’s success has inspired them to mix things up with a Keynote Theatre headlined by OPTIMA, BTC and the Gambling Commission.
