All eyes will be on Launchpad at this year's EIG conference

With this year’s much anticipated Launchpad nearing, the event’s previous victors continue to go from strength to strength off the back of winning the competition.

 

The sports betting advertising specialist Fresh8 gaming, who won Launchpad in 2014, recently strengthened its partnership with The Telegraph as well as agreeing a new partnership with Betstars.

 

When asked how winning Launchpad helped build his business, CEO and Co-Founder of Fresh8 gaming Andrew Sharland, told TotallyGaming.com: “Launchpad was a great start to life for Fresh8 and a great deal of fun! It really helped us in terms of verification of our thinking plus validated the demand we thought might be there in the market. The PR we received, drove lots of subsequent commercial interest.”

 

One of the prizes for winning Launchpad is a free booth at the competition the following year. Martin Miller, co-founder and CEO of last year’s winner 1SpinMillionare, revealed to TotallyGaming that he "wants to present our progress in the last year and like on every show where we have exhibited so far, we get a lot of new valuable contacts".

 

Miller added: "Attending Launchpad 2016 was a great start for 1SpinMillionaire to get the industry awareness and helped us to acquire first clients. The winning of the launchpad 2016 helped us mostly in three fields: marketing the product, creating brand awareness and facilitating contact with lots of clients.

 

“I cannot forget to mention that EiG Launchpad brand is well known in the gaming industry, so people really react positively to it. It’s definitely worth attending.

 

“Since last year, we focused mostly on business development, that's why we were at so many shows. We already acquired three clients who benefit from 1SM and big client from South America will follow in the next months.

 

"We are now looking for investments to boost our growth, because technically the product is developed and business proved.”
