Lottery and jackpot brand retention startup 1SpinMillionaire has won Pitch ICE and doubled up on awards after winning EiG Launchpad back in October.

The company wowed the Pitch ICE audience with its simple proposition to offer free 1SpinMillionaire tickets with every bet on a game on a site. The company won out against strong competition from 10 other contenders.

Martin Cagalinec, chief executive and founder at 1SM, was delighted with the news: “To be the winner of Pitch ICE 2017 is the proof that 1SpinMillionaire’s innovation is recognised and needed by the industry.” He added: “This prize encourages us to keep working hard, innovate and bring additional value to our customers. Many thanks to all voters and also to the whole team of GamCrowd for the support.”

Chris North, chief executive of GamCrowd which alongside Clarion Gaming helped put together the Pitch ICE event, said the fact that 1SpinMillionaire had scooped the prize again was testament to how much the audience thought of its idea. “It is a great credit to 1SpinMillionire and its founder Martin Cagalinec that he has put together a slick presentation and has an idea which really catches the imagination of people when they hear it explained at pitch events like this.”

Pitch ICE took place at Excel early in London February and featured pitches from 11 startups in total working across eSports, online gambling provision and supplier services, fantasy sports and blockchain. Other competitors  that supported the Pitch ICE session’s success include IFSolutions, Smart Form Guide, PVP.ME, Yamzu, MundoDT, Double R Quits, Dench eGaming Solutions, Betters Rift, SkillCorner, Coinfirm and Visual Draft.
