SlotGuru will join forces with the University of Iceland (UIL) and Islandsspil in order to break into the Icelandic market

SlotGuru has announced that Iceland’s two slot machine operators, the University of Iceland (UIL) and Islandsspil, have combined forces to jointly deploy its slot database mobile application across Iceland.

The SlotGuru service provides key information, including volatility levels, on over 2,600 casino slot games directly to a player's’ mobile phone.  Icelandic players will now better understand the likely impact of their gameplay choices before committing any money.

Stuart Armstrong, Founder and Director, SlotGuru told “The Icelandic market is very focussed on protecting their players and the joining of two companies to deploy, nationwide, SlotGuru to all potential players is a significant move.

“It is a bold statement of their commitment to responsible gambling and will ensure that all players are able to make more educated and empowered decisions about their slot play and ensure safer and more enjoyable gaming experiences.”

Bryndis Hrafnkelsdóttir CEO at UIL commented: “At UIL we believe that education and access to pertinent information are vital in enabling our players to make more responsible decisions when determining their gameplay choices.”

Totally Gaming says: As SlotGuru continues its expansion into new markets, the operators expansive  portfolio of games can help the group hit the ground running and be a success with customers in the new market.
