Party games modes form part of customer centric shift

Placing players at the centre of its attentions has been giving KamaGames the right results in 2017.

The social casino game developers and publishers are fresh off the launch of two new party game modes, designed to alter and enhance its flagship Pokerist title.

Daniel Kashti, chief marketing and commercial officer at KamaGames group, has been talking to TotallyGaming.com about the launch and the impact a user centric focus has had: “Our players love the party modes, and they’ve let us know via social media and, of course, with them joining the party games which has been clearly reflected in our numbers. Generally speaking, our retention and monetisation KPIs are showing strong growth YoY.

“For example, we have seen a 40%+ growth in financial metrics in 2016, and expect an even stronger growth by the end of 2017. This year has seen us shift some of our focus to concentrate on growing our network of players.

“The shift of focus has resulted in nearly 50% growth in DAU since the beginning of 2017. While it is still at very early stages (we only released 4 out of 5 modes), the reaction from players has been phenomenal.

“The games are available for 48 hours every week and during the first couple of weeks, over 200K players were playing the games, each with an average of nearly 30 hands per player.

“So as you can imagine, we’re delighted with our progress so far and feel there is a solid foundations to further build upon.”

The new game modes, titled Hearts Party and Pair Party, follow a similar launch of a number of titles earlier this year, with an aim of boosting the excitement of social casino games for a mainstream audience.

Each game mode offers a unique variation on a classic poker model, putting an emphasis on customer retention and engagement in the process.

Totally Gaming says: KamaGames party offerings have proven popular since the initial launch earlier this year, and the latest unveiling is to surely build upon that. By placing an emphasis on its customers the company is also ensuring it is best placed to continue to build on its success.
