KamaGames will help Manchester United to “expand its engagement” with the English Premier League football club’s vast fan base, Dan Miller, the chief marketing officer at the social gaming developer, has told TotallyGaming.com.

The two parties first linked up last month after KamaGames agreed a deal to become the official global social games partner of United.

The first title in a series of social casino games to be launched under the partnership will be ‘Manchester United Social Poker’ – a free-to-play game that enables supporters to interact and play social poker with other fans.

Accessible via desktop, mobile devices and the Facebook social network, the game will also offer players the chance to win United-related prizes such as match tickets and memorabilia.

“KamaGames hopes to expand and enhance its global footprint of social game players via its partnership with Manchester United,” Miller told TotallyGaming.com.

“Both organisations look forward to the opportunity to cross-promote and engage with each others’ audiences.

“KamaGames' social casino games will allow United to expand its engagement with current fans by providing them yet another channel to engage with the team and with each other, while also providing more value to existing sponsors.”

Miller also revealed that KamaGames will work with the club to further expand the social casino offering with the launch of new games that are currently under development.

“The number of new game players, introduced to KamaGames by playing the United-branded games, will be a key measure of success,” Miller said.

“KamaGames is working closely with United to determine which existing and/or new social casino games are the most appropriate to offer to their worldwide fan base.

“Initially, we are publishing branded games such as Social Poker and Social Roulette. There are a number of other games currently under development as well such as MU Social Slots and Blackjack.”
