Metal Casino, formed in August of this year, has hailed its acquisition of Ozzy Osbourne, in addition to staying true to its values, as it aims to gain traction in a busy marketplace.

‘The Prince of Darkness’ has been brought onboard by the “ world’s first casino that embraces metal music fans and casino lovers” as a brand ambassador, stating that he as impressed with the firms customer first approach.

Clas Dahlén, chief marketing officer at Metal Casino, emphasised the importance of such a coup, telling TotallyGaming.com: “Its very important since he really means something to our customers. He is the Godfather of Metal and we are the world's only Metal Casino. 100% brand fit!”

Adding: “In the world, full of generic online casinos, with high churn we saw a new position to create a strategy working and marketing towards a loyal vertical, with 400 million metal fans.

“That segment is very sensitive so you must share the values like being true [and] being relevant. With relevance you get a pull-effect, high staying power and retention.”

In addition to the partnership with three time Grammy award winning Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Osbourne, Metal Casino also hopes to link up with yet more of hard rock’s biggest names, bringing consumers closer to their heroes and favourite music genre.

This is to be achieved through players being able to secure exclusive concert tickets, backstage access and a plethora of band merchandise, along with big cash prizes.

Looking to the future, Dahlén also outlined his vision for Metal Casino’s future: “Expanding into new territories, releasing a new secret Metagame on-site, raising some more funds and continuing building the company with great staff.”
