Aristocrat breaks ground on new Las Vegas campus

Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval attended a ceremony last week to mark the development of Aristocrat Technologies’ new 180,000 square foot campus in Las Vegas.

Located in Summerlin, 15 kilometres west of the Strip, the two-building campus will house more than 600 employees, consolidating several of Aristocrat’s existing Las Vegas facilities into one location.

According to the gaming group, the relocation is in line with the growing corporate trend to locate workplaces closer to communities, boosting quality of life and providing employees with access to more nearby amenities.

In Summerlin, this includes parks, golf courses, walking trails and a bustling Downtown area, located just minutes from the new Aristocrat campus.

“We are excited to have officially broken ground on our two-building campus in Las Vegas,” Matt Wilson, managing director of the Americas region for Aristocrat, told TotallyGaming.com.

“We are signing a multi-year lease, and having been in Las Vegas since 1963, we are committed to the city as a company and as a community.

“Departments in the new facility will include design and development, sales, marketing, service and support, among other functions. The campus will be a hub for our Class III Americas team, helping to support customers across North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.”

The Summerlin campus is aimed for completion by late 2018.

Totally Gaming says: Once complete, Aristocrat’s new campus will bring more than 600 employees closer together, allowing for greater collaboration across its departments, as the company looks to bolster its presence in gaming markets across the Americas.
