Rank adds content to improve digital offering

CEO Henry Birch has outlined Rank's digital focus

Rank Interactive said its focus on digital expansion was the reason for its new software supply deal with Realistic Games.

Under the new agreement, Realistic products such as roulette, blackjack and various slot titles will go live across Rank Interactive’s Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca Bingo websites early next year. The integration of the new games will coincide with the launch of Rank’s new Bede Gaming-powered platform.

Rank Group chief executive Henry Birch recently stated the company’s strategy is “focused on five key areas with digital growth and a multi-channel future at the heart of it”, while Q1 figures released in October showed that digital revenue was up by 10 per cent year-on-year.

Ciara Nic Liam, head of casino and games at Rank Interactive, said: "We have been very impressed with Realistic Games’ content. It performs very well on all channels but is particularly strong on mobile, which will continue to be an important growth area for Rank in 2016.”

Realistic already has commercial deals to supply games to the likes of Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and William Hill.

Andy Harris, commercial director at Realistic, added: “We’re very pleased to have teamed up with Rank, whose recent focus on multi-channel is very much aligned with our own strategy. We’re very confident that the breadth and depth of our games will appeal to dedicated casino fans and casual bingo players alike and look forward to next year’s launch.”
